Current Position:

I currently teach Middle School Choir sixth through eighth grade. I am also an adjunct instructor for Texas Tech University College of Education where I am privileged to instruct student education majors seeking to become teachers in the state of Texas.

Previous Position:

Prior to working here in Dayton, I was the music teacher for Bertram Elementary in the Burnet CISD school district where I taught over four hundred students from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. My third, fourth and fifth grade students performed throughout the year for various holidays including Veteran's Day, Halloween, and Christmas. My first and second graders performed on a spring program and my kindergarten students sang songs for their graduation ceremonies.

As an educator, I have worked in many capacities. I have worked as a librarian, a secretary, a PEIMs clerk and an office manager. I have taught First grade Reading, Second Grade Reading, and Music at all levels including elementary music, instrumental ensembles, and middle school choir. I am a certified instructional assistant and a certified digital educator. Education and learning is my passion and I strive to foster a safe educational environment that leads to student growth and success.
