6th Grade World Geography
I am a proud alumni of Dayton High School, class of 2002! I studied Education and Mass Communications at the University of Houston – Downtown and completed my Bachelor’s degree in 2014. I also earned my Master’s of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2019.
Bachelor of Science Interdisciplinary Studies (focus on Education and Mass Communications); 2014 – University of Houston – Downtown
Master of Library & Information Science; 2019 – San Jose State University
This will be my 5th year with Dayton ISD. I have taught 4th grade Reading, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science and 3rd grade Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies at SFA. This is my first year at WWJH and I’m SO EXCITED to teach 6th grade World Geography. It has always been my favorite subject and I can’t wait to share it with my students!
I don’t have any children of my own yet, so I truly consider my students my kids.
My friends and family call me a crazy animal lady. I love animals and believe you can never have too many! I currently have:
2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 hermit crabs, 2 parakeets, and 5 snakes (yes, snakes!). The most unique animal I’ve owned was an orchid mantis, Lilly, who passed away in 2019.
One day, I hope to own enough land that I can run a small farm with chickens, goats, horses, and maybe a couple of cows.
