I am a proud graduate of Dayton High School. I graduated from high school in 1986. I then went on to University of Houston at Clear Lake. I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in math.
I have taught in Dayton for 29 years. I started my teaching career in 1991, teaching 1st grade at SFA. In 1999 I moved to 2nd grade at Richter and taught math, science, social studies for 13 years. In 2013, I moved to 3rd grade and taught math, science and social studies for a year. In 2014 I moved to 6th grade math and really enjoy teaching the older students. In 2020 I will be teaching keyboarding to 6th graders. We are going to have a great year at Woodrow Wilson Jr. High.
I have been married to my husband Andy for 26 years. I have three wonderful children. Jessica who is 31, Maddie who is 25 and Andrew who is 20. Jessica and Maddie and Andrew are all graduates of Dayton High School. In 2019 I became a grandmother to twin boys Dax and Crew.
In my free time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
