I am a proud graduate of Dayton High School. I graduated from high school in 1986. I then went on to University of Houston at Clear Lake. I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in math.
I have taught in Dayton for 27 years. I started my teaching career in 1991, teaching 1st grade at SFA. In 1999 I moved to 2nd grade at Richter and taught math, science, social studies for 13 years. In 2013, I moved to 3rd grade and taught math, science and social studies for a year. In 2014 I moved to 6th grade math and really enjoy teaching the older students. We are going to have a great year at Woodrow Wilson Jr. High.
I have been married to my husband Andy for 20 years. I have three wonderful children. Jessica who is 26, Maddie who is 19 and Andrew who is 14. Jessica and Maddie are both graduates of Dayton High School. Andrew will be starting Dayton High School in the fall.
In my free time I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
