I am very excited to join Dayton ISD. This will be my second year with Dayton ISD, but my 10th year in education. I am currently teaching the innovative math for 6th grade, as well as 6th grade math.
Before joining Dayton ISD, I started teaching in Shepherd ISD for 5 years. I taught 3rd -5th grades in Shepherd ISD. Most of my experience has been in teaching Math. From Shepherd, I moved to Sheldon ISD and taught 5th grade Math and Science in Sheldon. I have taught 6th grade math for Dayton ISD.
I have been married for 12 years and have two daughters. My oldest daughter will be attending Dayton ISD in 6th grade and my youngest daughter is 4 years old. We have several pets to keep us company. We have cats, dogs, and turtles!
My hobbies involve doing science experiences with my daughters. I also like to find fun things to do with my daughters such as swimming, library activities, basketball, bike riding, and arts and crafts.
